I think I’m starting to get a hold of my inner style lately. I’ve been checking out a lot of styles on Pinterest and finding some good inspiration. It’s just a matter of finding things in my closet that I can actually use to put together those looks.

I figured I would go out on a limb and try to spice things up a bit.

Here are my very warm and fun arm warmers from Pia Barile — she has a fabulous shop in Amsterdam and makes great accessories out of recycled and repurposed items.

I just think these arm warmers are just fantastic and love the big funky button. I’m also always quite shocked at just how much warmer they seem to keep me. Cold wrists truly can make a huge difference.

Then I decided to get really creative and jazz up my usual long-sleeved shirt and jeans look with a cardigan and scarf. I was really just improvising here with what I saw first in my closet…

I think it turned out looking pretty good. And even with just the cardigan it was a totally different and more dressed up look that the usual.
