That just won’t do

Mackenzie’s US passport and birth certificate arrived today. Only one week for processing…talk about shocking! Unfortunately, they have the wrong date of birth on them…so we have to reboot and start again. I think it may actually have been my mistake because I filled all this out at the hospital still and perhaps I wasn’t quite as fit as I thought I was. But thankfully changing something like that doesn’t cost you anything besides time. You have to mail the passport off to be updated and processing generally takes about 3 weeks after they receive it. Which makes it very good that we’re going through all this silliness now since we don’t on plan on traveling with her for another couple months.
