The skies of Frankfurt are often filled with clouds and drizzling rain. Although those days are not our fondest, it also makes us appreciate the brief moments of sunshine that much more. And just because the skies are grey and often dreary, doesn’t mean that they aren’t also full of life and beauty when you’re looking for it. It’s challenges like You Capture that always help me to slow down and take the time to look at my surroundings in a different way.

Since I didn’t just want a post filled with cloud-filled, vanilla skies, I dove into the filters in Lightroom to play around a little. Despite all the clouds, there are sometimes still blue patches to be glimpsed and treasured.

Sometimes it feels like we’re reaching for the sky in our everyday lives. And many may find themselves giving up on lofty goals because fear simply paralyzes us to do those things needed to achieve their dreams. But learning to plan out those goals, persevere and never let someone tell you that you can’t accomplish what you set out to do is crucial for success. Believe in yourself, learn from your mistakes and never have “no” in your heart.
