Mackie and I went to the hairdresser this morning. Her fuzz didn’t need any trimming just yet but my hair was starting to look rough after 3 months of no love. We got to use her stroller for the second time ever…I have to say it really can be practical even if it is huge. Mack was awake most of the time we were there and next time I may have to try taking her for a walk until she’s sleeping, then going in. It is a two hour ordeal, after all. But I was a bit thrown off because Stefan was at the doctor’s office…again. He can cross tonsillitis off his list of diseases he’s had now too. Super.
This afternoon while I was working from the couch, Mackenzie had a new first. She can now roll over from her stomach onto her back. The milestone charts on babycenter say this is a skill some advanced 3 month olds can do. So I’m guessing that rolling at 2 months and 3 days means we are in for trouble. Guess we better start looking for a baby gate for the kitchen area real quick. The first time I thought I was seeing things. But after the second I knew it was for real.
Maybe it was the “This is my little black dress” outfit that inspired her. Oh so cute, right? Maybe we need a super-baby outfit or something. Or do the milestone charts just need to be updated everywhere? 🙂
Oh I’m so glad you came to visit me today! For the longest time (and I am feeling so foolish for this), I have been thinking your website was “Not your ordinary homestead”, so I couldn’t find you in my old records or in google searches. What a blonde moment! So it feels like ages since I have seen your cutey, and wow. She sounds like a fabulous girl, Tiffany. I’m so happy for you, and I’m glad I can keep following you once again.

Oh wow, now that’s a REALLY early rolling! Guess you’ll have a lot of fun very soon :-)!
Our son did a bit of coincidental rolling at about three months but did not consciously roll over (both directions) until the age of about 5,5 months. Lazybones 😉 !
