First thing this morning we checked out the concrete mixer we found in our cellar. It is an electric model that is looking rather aged on the outside, but the mixing bowl (no idea if that is really the name for it is nice and clean.
The mixer is electric and after finding the right extension cord for it turned out to work like a charm. Plug it in, flip the switch and voila, easy as pie. We where a little worried that it might not work, given that the previous owner of the farm didn’t seem to be too picky about what he collected here and so we where quite relieved that it works. Now we just need to get the framing set up and get the concrete and we are good to go.
If you are interested in what this guy used to collect here, take a look at the post on our other blog regarding the first weekend’s clean up. We started with a trash container of 10 cubic meters, and have meanwhile almost filled up the 7th of those.
