Fall. Isn’t is just one of the most incredible seasons? I fully enjoy strolling through areas full of color changing leaves and watching as the leaves rain down on the world. Even though it means winter and cold weather are approaching, it’s still one of the prettiest seasons of the year.
Now, you may be thinking that I photographed fall a few weeks ago — cause I was thinking the same thing. But honestly, this week fall is far more appropriate since it is now in full swing here!
We’ve woken up to a few fog-filled mornings here over the last few weeks…and when it’s so foggy that we can barely see our neighbors across the street, it makes a spectacular show on the foliage around here!
It’s a bit of a foreshadow of what will no doubt soon be here in the form of frost. Brrr!
The dew was particularly heavy yesterday and really dripping off the plants like rain.
This particular tree is red at the top and still fairly green at the bottom — but it looked rather dull in the photos of took of it. So I decided to tweak it a bit with a filter instead.
The fog really just makes everything look so dreamy in the mornings…
One of the mini-trees in front of our house is just a ball of firey leaves right now — I’m just loving the colors.

I LOVE that first pathway shot – great angle and color and focus! Yes, I love fall (as you well know) and even though I know it means colder days are ahead (which means that my nose and toes will begin to feel like it will never be warm again), I just adore these transition days of fall! Hope you’re having a good week!
I like the fog too. And the colors in your shots are so pretty. I love Fall for that, the colors. Oh and the pie. 😉
Very pretty colors, and I love the foggy picture!
