Sadly, hubby’s vacation is already over and there is still plenty to be done around here. But we did make very good progress in the garden and are working ourselves up to starting and hopefully even finishing the construction of the greenhouse this weekend. We’re going to make a run for the lumber tomorrow night since our other nights are already rather full so it will be a day of running errands for me since I also need to go to the pet store and grocery store to stock up on food for everyone. A week’s vacation can be devastating for a full pantry.
I’m going to try to get a few smaller things done around here during the week like putting up the frosted glaze for the windows in the office and perhaps taking down some of the bird coop stuff while we have the container here still. This weekend we’ve promised to have dinner with one of hubby’s colleagues. It doesn’t really fit into our game plan but we’ve put them off a few times already so we don’t have much choice now…and the following weekend S (hubby) will be out of town for business…so I will be looking for a small project for myself then which may very well have something to do with our garden & greenhouse 😉 At the moment we’re also still planning to have his class reunion the 3rd weekend in May…but we’re not stressing about things anymore. It probably won’t be so many people and if we can’t get to it, we just can’t. If we had an endless supply of time and money…well the world would be a very different place 😉
