In about 20 minutes Ayla will be having her first grooming session. She’s still got tons of winter undercoat and I just don’t have the ability to brush her as she needs to be…so we’re calling in reinforcements! We’re traveling to Bavaria next week for a few days because Stefan’s family is visiting from Seattle so we want Ayla looking (and smelling) her best. It should be an interesting session and I’m sure it’s going to be at least 3 hours of work. Don’t worry…we plan on tipping her well!
So many people have entered the giveaway contest already and I’m totally excited. I can’t wait to do the drawing on Saturday…we’re even going to make a little video! If you haven’t entered already but would love to have $60 to spend on anything from over 200 CSNStores, just hop over to this post and leave a comment….or leave a note on Facebook for me!
Stefan has family in Seattle? I had no idea. Good luck with the grooming…….I might have to get into your drawing of yours. π
There’s a whole flock of them over there π Aunt & Uncle with their son & daughter-in-law…plus their two daughters who are 16 and 12. Going to be quite the little family reunion!
Go, go…enter, enter! I’m sure that you can find something you “need” at one of the stores…they seriously have stores for everything related to home, garden, kids & so on. Nothing for motorcycles that I know of π
I remember we had to take our long haired cat in for grooming…I thought we should just get him shaved since Texas summers are HOT! They just ended up shaving his belly, which he loved, so we (read: my parents) do that every year. Charlie doesn’t have much hair, so no worries there, but he sure does know how to lose it!
Where in Bavaria are you going to be? There’s lots of us expats here…maybe a little treff? (We’re all dog people) If you have no time, no worries, there’s the blogger meet-up. π
I finally tried the furminator and I have to say I’m a huge fan now because it gets that dead coat out so well! She’ll feel so much better. Here’s a few products I’ve tried to help with the tangles and the matting because that’s such a nightmare to try and comb out! Try a diluted form of the de-mat spray each time you brush her http://www.shampoolady.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=kdmsg&Category_Code=Conditioners
for really bad areas I tried the Kiehls Creme Silk Creme and it actually worked, just need a little bit though. Hope she’s a clean, pretty girl now! Have fun on your trip!
