We got an email this morning from FunStuffForDogs.com about a pretty snazzy new leash called the BZ Retractable Leash.
As you can see, it’s got quite a few bells and whistles, including a built-in flashlight, extra safety collar with reflective tape, a doggie waste bag dispenser and more. Quite nice I’d say.
BUT it only is suitable for dogs up to 70 lbs. What about all us other big, beautiful pups who are larger than that? We can’t be walked in style??
And speaking of retractable leashes…where has mine gone, humans? I remember starting to chew through it and then it went into the infirmary for surgery – don’t think the poor guy ever made it out. Maybe he’s still in ICU…
Ayla, I’m 70.2 lbs. I guess I’m out of the running. But it kind of looks like someone just glued a flashlight to a regular retractable leash. Now if it were a retractable leash with a built in iPhone … that would be something.

I do think it would be much more useful if you could take the little flashlight off…but what do we know, right?
A built in iPhone would be another nice feature, although my mom thinks she might whack herself in the head when I stop short. Guess it needs a speakerphone feature too 😉

That lease has all the extras.. the Cadillac of leashes. We are all to big of it too. I bet it cost a pretty penny, but very cool.

The cost is $32.50 which isn’t so bad IMO. They make one for smaller dogs too…but when will the one for big dogs arrive? 😉
