Hello friends,
I know I haven’t written much lately…and I”m sorry. But you see, Mom has had here hands full with Mackenzie (literally) so she hasn’t had time to type for me. I tried to type myself but unless you can read this, “ijlka arijgpoaergo0ik wist i” we’re both out of luck. Although I can’t get her to type, she IS still taking photos which counts for something.
So many people ask mom how Mackenzie and I are getting along. If they would ask me I would describe how Mackenzie looks at me when I first come near her. I think she’s trying to see my features in the midst of all my blackness.
But then once she recognizes me, she gives me a look more like this, with a bit of a laugh. In fact, the other day she was in her bouncy chair on the floor and I came over and started licking her hand. She actually giggled…it was a first. How could she not love me?
Today I played with Mack in the rainforest. It was AWESOME! I crawled down under the little rainbow and laid beside her. We were having a nice time, the butterflies in our hair and toys hanging around.
She’s so cute I just had to give her a big sloppy kiss. Then I tried to convince her to give me at least one of her toys…but she wasn’t having it. Guess I’ll have to work on my persuasive powers.
The weather here has been heavenly lately. Nice and cold with lots of precipitation. It was snowing tonight. I had it all over me…started looking like my sister the Landseer. But one quick shake and it was gone. I just love laying out there in the cold and snow. Good stuff!
So folks, it’s time for me to go snore in the corner. It’s hard work playing in the snow. Hope you have a great weekend!
Newfie kisses,
Ayla
Too cute!
We got a dog when our oldest was about a year old. They are so sweet together. They’re both about 7 right now, and they still wrestle on the floor together.
Mackenzie is super cute. You’re going to be the perfect big sister!
