Sunshine.
It’s something I can never seem to get enough of. Perhaps I’m in a perpetual vitamin D withdrawal phase, but here around Frankfurt we just seem to get far more grey days than sunny — or maybe the grey days just stick more in my mind because they are so gloomy.
This past weekend, we were in Berlin, and the sun actually was present almost the entire weekend. We did get rained on just a bit –but nothing too dramatic. We might be sweet, but we’re not that sugary. 😉

We definitely made the most of our time there this weekend — and almost wore out our shoes because we were exploring so much. There’s a whole lot to see in Berlin, and we were barely able to scratch the surface in these 3 days. But at least we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the city, even though we didn’t get to see a few of the boroughs at all.

I love your first shot–great use of perspective. I also love the bright blue sky in your second photo. Hope you get some more sunny days soon!
I love Berlin. We made sure to capture lots of pictures of our Charlie at ‘Checkpoint Charlie’ when we were last there. Your photos are lovely.
Amazing, amazing shots! What a fun weekend…and it does help to have some sunshine when you’re seeing the sights!
