You may notice an abundance of zucchini during the first few days of this menu list. That’s because we have started getting some from our own plants and I actually bought some the other day in fear that ours wouldn’t be ready. Doh. Plus I was asked by a neighbor if we would like some zucchini, cucumbers and possibly tomatoes from their garden because they have too much. Heck yeah I want it!
As luck would have it, today is officially Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Night. It was started by a man named Tom Roy, who apparently has had more than his share of zucchini to get rid of each year. I’d just like to state for the record that anyone looking to dump zucchini is more than welcome to use our porch! 😉
Now on to the menu…many repeats from recent weeks as well as some old classics. We’ve tried so many new things lately that I wanted to bring back some of the good stuff for a visit!

The following week won’t have much of a plan because I’ll be home by myself. That probably means salads, frozen pizzas and other things that don’t take too much effort or leave leftovers. One of these days, I think I’m going to have to come up with some recipes just for these sorts of occassions since it looks like he’ll be traveling more often…and it will be a little while longer until Mackenzie is ready to start eating with me!
